Meet Austin - Select Business Manager Austin joined OVD in August 2015 in a claims position and transitioned to the small SBU team in 2017, where he helped service and sell small accounts. As the company grew, so did his responsibilities, and in 2023, he stepped into the Manager role for SBU.

In his current role, Austin focuses on onboarding, training, and being a key resource for his team. He also ensures his team members are happy in their roles, helping them take on new challenges and achieve their goals, with a focus on preparing them for larger accounts in the future.

The OVD culture has played a pivotal role in Austin’s growth. He was inspired by how leadership actively engaged with the team during periods of rapid growth, addressing challenges and listening to employees' needs. This collaborative, hands-on approach from leadership motivated him to step up and take on more responsibility, helping the company and its employees succeed. For Austin, the most rewarding part of his role is seeing his team thrive and knowing their hard work will pay off at OVD.
